我是14-15年在Warwick念经济的Master,在33 Cloud Green, CV4 7NL租的房子。住的时候没出什么大问题而且离学校很近，问题是，当我搬走时，房东一直不把租金退给我。我发了很多邮件也没有回我，就像消失了一样。之前催我交房租的时候邮件发的可勤快了，所以现在肯定是故意不想退定金。

所以劝大家找房子的时候最后房东就在当地，不然现在用邮件，根本没什么用。

如果不巧已经租这个房子的同学，可以不付最后一个月房租，这样房东不退租金也不怕了。我就是当时太傻了。

如果有同学有什么好的解决办法，也希望告诉我，我现在在伦敦读书，生活费实在是很高。定金也有320胖子呐，心疼啊！

希望大家找房顺利，多长几个心眼，特别是仔细看contract.

1）公布房东名字吧

2)  应该打电话去说明如果再不退通过法律途径解决吧。可以再到处问下，碰到这种情况该怎么办

It is by Law that all tenants deposit has to be registered with third company. You should get your deposit back.
First all, When you paid your deposit which company did your landlord tell you. You should contact them directly.
Secondly If you don't know which company now, just ask your landlord. Also, if he/she didn't register your deposit with anyone, then he/she break the law. That is serious. You should ask he/her return your full deposit or you will report it to authority.
